Shyness – Killer Of Our Lives

This post will be not typical blog post. Today I thought that it can be very helpful for some of you. Thats’ why I’m going to present some topic that is very close for me. Unfortunately close, but fortunately, because it has passed.

What is it?

It’s a Shyness…

Why is it close subject to me?

Hm… Because I was very shy boy in the past. It was when I was in high school, about 8 years ago. That was a very huge problem. When I looked at the past, now I think that sometimes I felt like I carried a large stone on me. Very huge a heavy stone. I would not go back to that moment ever again. Oh my God…that was terrible. What a relief that it’s been behind me for a long time. Now I am very confident, and have good and well-set self-esteem.
But you know what? I appreciate it very. And I think that I can appreciate it in this way, because I lived with shyness and a lot of complexes when I was a young boy.

The Shyness can kill all your dreams. Now I see it more than then.

You maybe ask – how overcome it?

If I would write it in one sentence… You must leave the comfort zone…daily! Every day do something what is not comfortable for you. That will cause that you will develop day after day, and your shyness will be smaller.

How it works?

It’s simple. Shyness is your fear that you feel inside. The best idea is getting rid of shyness through doing things that you don’t want to do. Your self-confidence will increase after every try.

That you can fight with shyness.

What else?

I want to show you very interesting material. Not only me had these problems. All over world are a lot of people who have the same. I know that it’s necessary to overcome it. It helps me enjoy my life more than earlier. I feel better, happier, without uncomfortable fear.

Listen the the history of Dean. My feelings about the past are similar to Dean. He can interest for you.

  1. I too can recall myself being a shy girl with very low confidence to deal with the outside world ..
It was when I went to hostel and came out of my protective shell of my family .. I got that courage and confidence.

    Nice write up ..👍🏻

    1. Yea, it’s ery important to build own self-confidence. In my opinion is the most important character trait, because it determines how we’ll rub along in our lives. And it’s first step to success 🙂

  2. When I was just starting in the world I became fascinated and involved in the film business. At doing props then doing makeup as a freelancer. To survive I had to create an extrovert light switch that I could turn on before a job. The night before was spent in terror until I finally figured that out.
I had the unfortunate problem of being both introverted and shy. Now, I feel like all the energy spent in those conditions was really a waste of time.
    Thanks for sharing!

    1. I had the same problem, was shy and chose introvert behaviours like stay at home when friends went on a party. Why? Because of other’s people opinion. I had complexes.
Sometimes one moment can change something in our life. Maybe not at once, but it changes the directions, our mindset, a willingness to change 🙂
And you’re right – it doesn’t have sense to waste time and health to worry about situations that mostly will not happen 🙂
      You’re welcome!
